How to JoinEligibilityChapter membership is open to all individual members of ARLIS/NA and the designated representative for institutional members, upon payment of chapter dues.
Another level of participation is the Chapter Associate. Associates need not be members of ARLIS/NA. They may participate in chapter activities upon payment of dues, although they cannot vote or hold office.
The Chapter encourages membership from library and visual resources staff members of art museums, art schools, art and architecture departments of colleges, universities and public libraries; from related institutions, businesses, special libraries and other interested agencies, as well as students in MLS or art history MA programs. BenefitsMembers are entitled to participate in chapter meetings, receive chapter newsletters and be involved in special projects. MeetingsChapter meetings are held in the spring and fall, usually at an ARLIS/CP institution. Meeting activities include educational presentations, tours of local institutions and sites, a business meeting and opportunities for informal socializing. Members also take the opportunity to get together at annual ARLIS/NA conferences. For more information, see the Meetings page.
