The spring meeting of the Central Plains Chapter will be held at Kansas State University, April 3-5, 2008. Ellen Urton, Visual Arts Librarian, will be our local contact.

 

In addition to our business meeting, Ellen Urton and Tori Gregory are planning a program on Sustainability using the resources of KSU’s departments of Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Design. Tours of campus libraries and museums are planned, as well as an opportunity to visit Aggieville, a six block area of restaurants and shops within walking distance of campus.

Dates, Location of Fall Meeting Announced

Mark your calendars now for our Fall Chapter Meeting to be held in Lincoln, NE, September 18-20. Kay Logan-Peters, Access and Branch Services Librarian at the University of Nebraska, will be our host. Kay and Tori Gregory, current Chair Elect of ARLIS/CP, are planning a fascinating program on art textiles in conjunction with the recently reopened International Quilt Study Center and Museum.
